Winthrop, Minn. - Dan Huber was a one-man wrecking crew on Tuesday night, leading the Tigers to a 4-1 victory at Winthrop.  Huber threw a complete-game six-hitter and collected four of the team's eight hits, including a three-run home run with two outs in the top of the ninth.  Huber drove in all four Tiger runs on the night.

Huber outdueled Winthrop's pious sidewinder, Ben Melius, who also went the distance for the Eagles.  Belle Plaine scored their first run in the first, then did not strike again until the last moment in the ninth.

Mike Dhaene continues to swing a hot bat and went 3-for-4 on the night.  His average is up to .323, and he has also been a terror on the basepaths, stealing two bases in each of the last two games.

Pat Schultz, who was recently 7 for his last 7 to go above .400, is now 0 for his last 11 since getting engaged to Jenny OllhoffPat, get the ring back!!  Just kidding.

The Tigers are 8-8 in league play, 13-17 overall.  They play at Mankato tomorrow night, and at Le Sueur on Sunday at 2:00 pm, before opening the CCL-White playoffs at home on Friday, July 22nd.
